After Big Tex burned down in 2012, SRO went behind the curtains and began rebuilding the 55 foot iconic cowboy. In partnership with Texas Scenic Company, SRO successfully recreated Big Tex. The new Big Tex looks very similar to the previous version, but stands a few feet taller and features new animations.
