Natural Bridge Caverns envisioned their cave walls being turned into a Nativity story, so SRO made that happen. Directed by Eddy Snell- Illustrations were completed by SRO Designer, Sara Dieterich, and animated by Paul Johnson,Inc. The Illustrations were compiled with a voice over and music selection to tell the story of the birth of Jesus. Projection mapping allowed the video to be seen on the rocky surface of the cave wall. Audio Visual design and installation were directed by SRO’s Lighting Designer, Louis Bohn. Additional scenes, shown during the first season, included a shepherd boy and a couple of townspeople retelling their interactions with Joseph and Mary during their journey to Bethlehem. All video was shot on green screen. Surrounded by the cave walls, and immersed in the story, made for a true emotional connection- and a one-of-a-kind experience.
