Karen L. Miller

Vice President, Design and Construction

Ms. Miller has been the Art Director for SRO Associates since 1999. In her capacity as Vice President of Design and Construction, she serves as Art Director, Scenic Designer, and Project Manager for large construction projects. Ms. Miller has designed shows and park décor for theme parks including Hersheypark, Six Flags Fiesta Texas, Sea World of Texas, Paramount Canada's Wonderland, Paramount's Carowinds, SeaWorld Orlando, Busch Gardens Africa, LegoLand Windsor, UK and Ontario Place, Toronto. Industrial credits include design of Trendmasters' 2002 New York City Toy Fair and trade show booths for FedEx.

After earning an MFA in Scenic Design from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University, she worked as a freelance designer for over ten years, broadening her skills and understanding of non-traditional scenic design. She has been a member of United Scenic Artists, Local 829 since 1998. She has designed well over 100 theatrical productions and innumerable other scenic projects.

Raul McGinnes

Costume Designer

A native of San Antonio, Raul began his career in costume design while still a performer working in Tampa, FL. Raul took the position of Wardrobe Supervisor for the Ballet Folklorico of Ybor; he began designing and building costumes for the dance company's annual performances, other local dancers and dance companies. He later took a position in the costume shop at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay.

Returning to San Antonio, Raul started a costuming business, designing and building for local dance companies, area high school theatres and The San Pedro Playhouse. He also built specialty costumes for SeaWorld San Antonio's Howl-O-Scream. Raul has worked as a costumer for Six Flags Fiesta Texas, and is also the Wardrobe Master for Ballet San Antonio's The Nutcracker.

Louis Bohn

Lighting Designer

Mr. Bohn holds a Bachelor of Arts in theatre from Trinity University. He previously worked as a laser show designer, vying for the International Olympic Committee 2012 site bid, launching new products for major pharmaceutical & appliance companies, introducing comedians & former astronauts, celebrating the Millennial New Year and other unique events.

For over ten years, Mr. Bohn has been designing lights for theme parks, theatres, concerts, cruise lines and business meetings. His work is seen by more than 2 million people annually, and is part of many award-winning shows.
